Secret Cinema offers double dose of thrills

Monthly event to host matinee and evening show in London on February 15.

Secret Cinema is to return to an undisclosed, top secret London location on February 15.

Secret Cinema offers a unique cinematic experience. The locations of the screenings are only revealed on the morning of the event to those who have signed up in advance at www.secretcinema.org.

Following the success of Ghostbusters last November, where London’s Horticultural Hall and Brighton’s Corn Exchange were transformed into 1980s New York in the midst of ectoplasmic meltdown, Secret Cinema promise their comeback will rock, with two shows, matinee and evening.

As usual, it all remains strictly secret.

Past screenings have seen live rescores, special guests, installation artists, musicians and performers. The top-secret films uniquely possess each location. Sites have ranged from derelict theatres to city rooftops; while the films can be anything from exclusive previews to time-honoured favourites.
