Armie Hammer to make Broadway début

Star will appear in Straight White Men

Armie Hammer, the star of Luca Guadagnino's Call Me By Your Name (which won James Ivory a Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar, based on the book by André Acimen) with Timothée Chalamet and Michael Stuhlbarg, and Tom Ford's Nocturnal Animals, opposite Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal, is making his Broadway début.

Young Jean Lee's Straight White Men, directed by Anna D Shapiro (Tony Award for Tracy Letts' August: Osage County) is currently in previews and will open at the Helen Hayes Theater on Monday, July 23. Hammer along with Paul Schneider (Simon Stone's The Daughter) and Josh Charles (Joseph Cedar's Norman: The Moderate Rise And Tragic Fall Of A New York Fixer) play three sons who come home on Christmas Eve.

Straight White Men is scheduled to run through September 9, 2018 at the Helen Hayes Theater 240 West 44th Street.
