Lincoln, Life Of Pi and Les Misérables head up Oscar list

2013 nominations revealed.

It's that time of year again, and with due pomp and ceremony, Emma Stone and Seth MacFarlane have announcd this year's Oscar shortlists. Leading the pack is Lincoln, with an impressive twelve nominations. Life Of Pi has eleven, Les Misérables and Silver Linings Playbook each have eight and Argo has seven, while James Bond mega-hit Skyfall has emerged as a strong British contender with five. Quvenzhané Wallis' appearance in the Best Actress category makes her its youngest ever nominee at just nine years of age - five when she auditioned for her role in Beasts Of The Southern Wild.
