Eye For Film >> Search >> 'Machete'

A documentary celebrating the Filipino exploitation films of the Seventies and Eighties, where lax health and safety regulations led to remarkable thrills.

Armed only with his machete, a pissed-off Mexican sets out to avenge a set-up and the murder of his family, and to bring justice to a US border town.

Machete is recruited by the US government to travel through Mexico and take down a drug dealer who plans to launch a deadly space weapon.
