Ghost School
The second edition of the Muslim International Film Festival, championing the narratives of international Muslim filmmakers, opens with Hijra and closes with Human Tide. It aims to counter suspicion and stereotyping by by showcasing the diverse nature of Muslim communities in the UK and throughout the world. Hosted by the Odeon Luxe West End, London, the feature programme may be small but it packs in some impressively high quality works across different genres. It is accompanied by a selection of shorts, making it easier for new voices to be heard.
The festival runs from 2 to 5 July.
