Ryan Reynolds' charismatic co-star Peggy, the pug Chinese chested cross who stole viewers' hearts in Deadpool & Wolverine, has been named Best in [the] World at this year's Fidos, as well as taking home the coveted Comedy Canine award.

Hosted by Toby Rose, who founded both the Fidos and the Palm Dog, the ceremony took place at the British Film Institute on Sunday, with human stars Michelle Collins, Monica Dolan and Clive Anderson joining the line-up of excited hounds. All were on their best behaviour, helped by an assortment of treats. The winners received specially engraved dog collars, designed by Creature Clothes, to take home.
