The Online Film Critics Society (OFCS) has given its biggest prize of the year to Anora, the Sean Baker film about a sex worker which peaked early this awards season before a slump, but which might now be re-establishing itself as a contender. Unlike most awards bodies, the OFCS provides information on the order of votes, so it's possible to see that The Substance, for which Coralie Fargeat won Best Directing, came second in the Best Picture race, followed by The Brutalist. Despite getting eight nominations, the latter proved unlucky and didn't get any awards at all.
