- Will Poulter, whose star has arguably been on the rise since his breakthrough performance in Son Of Rambow in 2007, is moving seamlessly from a child actor to an adult career with his recent performance in We're The Millers and is likely to become much more of a household name when he takes on the role of Gally in James Dashner's The Maze Runner adaptation later this year.

- French actress Léa Seydoux is no stranger to nominations this year after co-starring in the critically acclaimed prize magnet Blue Is The Warmest Colour. In 2014, she will be seen in Wes Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel, as Beauty in a new adaptation of Beauty And The Beast and in fashion biopic Saint Laurent.

The winner will be announced at the EE British Academy Film Awards ceremony on Sunday February 16, with nominees selected by an influential group of jurors including actress Gemma Arterton, Deputy Chair of BAFTA’s Film Committee Pippa Harris, and film critic Mark Kermode.
