Eagle Eye star Shia LaBeouf, who was named 's 2008 Orange Rising Star, today announced the nominees for this year award.

The award is the only one at the upcoming BAFTAs - which take place on February 8 - which is voted for by the British public.

The nominees are as follows:

Michael Cera - Arguably, the 20-year-old's star has been ascendant for a few years now, ever since he was cast as George-Michael Bluth in Arrested Development. Career highlights, so far, have included Juno and the upcoming Nick And Norah's Infinite Playlist (out in the UK on January 30th).

Noel Clarke - Probably best known for his role as Mickey in Dr Who, the 33-year-old is also an established screenwriter, who penned and starred in both Kidulthood and Adulthood (which he also directed). His next project is alongside Timothy Spall in thriller Heartless.

Michael Fassbender - Something of a hot property since he started in the critically acclaimed Hunger, the German-born 30-year-old, who grew up in Ireland, looks set to reap more critical acclaim this year. Upcoming films include Andrea Arnold's Fish Tank and Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds.

Rebecca Hall - Out of the blocks at an early age, the 26-year-old featured in The Camomile Lawn when at just aged 10. Following a period of stage acting, she has been rising to prominence since her feature debut in Starter For Ten. She can also been seen in hot ticket Frost/Nixon (which opens in the UK on January 23rd) and in Woody Allen's Vicky Cristina Barcelona (out in the UK on February 6th)

Toby Kebbell - One of several actors recently to be 'discovered' by director Shane Meadows, the 26-year-old starred in Dead Man's Shoes and went on to win a best supporting actor BIFA for Control. He will star in Mike Newell's fantasy epic Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time due out later this year.

Text entry costs 25p... but you can vote on the Orange website, here for free. Details of phone voting can also be found there.
