Titles for the 53rd edition of the festival ran from June 29 to July 7. Barry Levinson was awarded a Crystal Globe for lifetime achievement and there was a tribute section dedicated to Austin Film Society. The festival also paid tribute to Milos Foreman, who died earlier in 2018, opening with his Loves Of A Blonde.
