Shot as part of Leith’s 2-4-6-8 24 hour film challenge – you can’t expect the highest production values from a film made in just a day, but there is certainly still plenty to commend this short.

Joe (Douglas Brooks, who also wrote and directed) is naked but for a set of underpants. His wife has locked him out and he wants to tell us why. A day of mayhem is recounted in flashback.

There is no lack of imagination here, although some of the scripting sags a little and is not quite as amusing as it possibly thinks it is. That said, the acting is solid, the ideas good and the pay-off neat.
