After striking opening titles, Bulb presents a dystopian industrial metropolis, a surveillance society full of CCTV and cameraphones, Blade Runner-esque hot air balloons. In it is a sculptress, her masterpiece nearly completed, but as she brings it home things start to unravel, and spark.

Despite some stunning visual work, Bulb verges on nonsense. Its references are narrow, and it looks even weaker for having them.
