Bargain

Bargain

Another enjoyable, if slight, comedy short. It's a mockumentary tracking two people's bargain-hunting extremism. One, a trainspotting type, embarks on a week of holidays each year, cramming summer bank holidays, Christmas and Easter week into a seven day period in February. He has his SCEW T-shirt, his cut-price food and decorations and he's ready for action.

Meanwhile, an elderly woman concerned with her husband's "trouble with the paper" embarks on a hunt for black market bog roll. There are so many of these mockumentary type short film out there at the moment, that you really have to have a kicker of a premise - such as that in Industrial Love Dwarf No.7.

The elderly couple squabbling over savings works the best of the two segments, but there are no belly laughs.
