Words are curious beasts, when we see them rather than just hear them they seem to carry more weight.

Stephen Kershaw has used clever CGI animation to prove that very point in this music video for Glasgow band Kill Binary Kill.

Reminiscent of an advert campaign of some years ago in which the buildings and streets were constructed out of the word for what they were, are presented with a CGI bloke having a series of increasingly bad days.

You can tell just how bad his day is because it is written all over his face, literally. His body is a billboard for his emotions. A scrolling advert tells you exactly how he is feeling, from relaxed and calm through to despairing, as he faces the advertising and political invective thrust at us from the moment we get up to the moment we go to sleep.

In many ways the video has more to say than the song it accompanies.
