A wind-up toy goes for a tumble down a staircase after being set in a wrong direction; it reveals strange and unexpected Doctor Who meets The Iron Giant esque abilities.

It's a bit repressive, with omnious music and no dialogue. The art style is of a multi-frame charcoal wash, and the 3D models are placed in the scene and rendered using non-realistic shading using pencil shaders for tone, finished off with rough animated pencil outlines. Its use of the grayscale palette is exceptional, but this is a mere calling card. Wouldn't mind a story next time.
