The Door Stop is a man. An angry man.

He doesn't have a name. He has a look. And the look says, "Git off ma face!"

If he were a young man, he would be a hoodie. But he's not. He's a bouncer, a doorman, the guy who tells you to F-off because you're not wearing a tie/jacket/right shoes.

Rules? He loves 'em. Birds? Can't be havin' wiv 'em. Collers? "That's spelt wrong, mate." "It says no collers. Can't you read? You gotta coller? You don't get in."

He's small and bald and he talks to the camera. He tells the camera what he thinks, what he hates, who he has no time for. Just about the whole wide world.

This is to introduce Patrick Hoffman, who plays The Door Stop. You need to watch this fella. He's good.

The sound goes wonky every now and again. The acting, with the exception of the incomparable Mr H, is iffy. The film is like a naughty secret. You love to hate it, you hate to love it. Either way, this Hoffman does the business.
