First, the technical stuff for the hi-tech junkies out there. This DVD offers three options for sound. There's the standard Dolby Digital 5.1, Dolby Digital 2.1 and, for a few of the features, there's the DTS surround sound format.

Now, to the extras. While the list looks ample, there is really not that much to see. The trailers are standard fare, and the photo gallery and slideshow is tedious to say the least. The music video and mini feature are not technically in the extras menu. They appear to be an afterthought that doesn't really belong.

The best extra on the DVD is definitely the Making Of Documentary. It is not like the conventional Behind The Scenes drivel, but a detailed insight into how the content of the feature was constructed. The only problem is that it's in Japanese and becomes increasingly difficult to read the subtitles and watch what is happening at the same time.

Definitely one to look at for CGI fans, though.
