Read Keith Hennessey Brown's film review of The Old MasterMIA's Region 2 DVD of The Old Master, released as part of their Old Skool Kung Fu collection, is presented in its original 2.35:1 aspect ratio.
That, however, is all one can really say in the disc's favour. While the print used is in surprisingly good condition, the image is somewhat grainy and lacking in definition. The Dolby sound is clear, but flat. You notice, for example, that all the impact noises in the fights are identical.
There are no subtitle, or language options. English is your only choice - like it or lump it.
