This is a double bill DVD comprising two documentaries about lesbian subjects by Fiona Cunningham-Reid, the second being Wine, Women & Friends. Though quite different in character, they're both very enjoyable. Both have their trailers also on this disc and there are a substantial number of interviews about Crocadyke Dundee.

If you enjoy the story of Sydney 'godmother' Dawn O'Donnell, you'll love the extended interviews with contributors to the film, which make it clear that there were just too many fascinating anecdotes to fit into the documentary itself. There's a lengthy interview with Dawn herself and you'll also find a talk by the director, explaining how she first encountered her subject, how the interview happened and how she eventually managed to develop what she had into a film.

There's a real shortage of good lesbian cinema out there and these are films that anybody can enjoy. They are documentaries worth watching repeatedly, so this is a great DVD to add to your collection.
