A beautiful Asian woman stirs from her hotel room. She stares at us, and we stare right back. Her and our gaze is wordless, silent. We see her, the seaport and loading dock behind her. She lies at the window, clearly remembering something important or pleasurable.

She is eventually presented in close up. We wonder just what in the heck she's thinking. Another slow smile, and she looks behind us. A close up of jewellery. Where did they come from? What is she doing with it? The hand lines - the mysteries are infinite. So simple, so short, so many unanswered questions. A place, a human being, and all the simplicity in the world.
