Shooting Stars recognise Britsh and Irish talent

Andrea Riseborough and Domhnall Gleeson take centre stage

British and Irish talent are among the 10 actors and actresses chosen to particpate in teh 14th Shooting Stars showcase at the Berlin International Film Festival.

Brighton Rock's Andrea Riseborough and Brendan Gleeson's son Domhnall Gleeson - who is seen in the upcoming Coen Brothers film True Grit - are among the stars selected from a longlist of 25 candidates.

The full list of Shooting Stars is as follows:

Albania: Nik Xhelilaj (The Albanian)
Croatia: Marija Škaričić (Mother of Asphalt)
Denmark: Pilou Asbæk (R)
Germany: Alexander Fehling (Goethe!)
Ireland: Domhnall Gleeson (True Grit)
F. Y. Rep. of Macedonia: Natasha Petrovic (As If I Am Not There)
Spain: Clara Lago (Bunker)
Sweden: Alicia Vikander (Pure)
The Netherlands: Sylvia Hoeks (Tirza)
United Kingdom: Andrea Riseborough (Brighton Rock)
