Resfest's long and short of it

International multi-media festival launches UK and Ireland tour in London on September 28

Interntional multi-media film festival RESFEST will be launched on September 28 in London before touring seven cities in UK and Ireland through September, October and November.

This year's programme includes the UK premiere of Doug Pray's feature-length documentary about seven taggers' obsession with graffiti, Infamy, and fast-paced documentary Just For Kicks about the evolution of training shoes.

Other feature-length highlights include Mike Mills' excellent Thumbsucker and Ghost In The Shell II: Innocence.

There are also three short film programmes, along with a video retrospective of video pioneer Beck and music video showcases.

28 Sep – 2 Oct: London: National Film Theatre

13–16 Oct: Glasgow: Glasgow Film Theatre and Centre for Contemporary Arts

20–23 Oct: Dublin: Irish Film Institute and Filmbase

27–30 Oct: Bristol: Watershed

4–6 Nov: Belfast, Queen’s Film Theatre

11–13 Nov: Sheffield: Showroom

18–Su 20 Nov: Nottingham: Broadway
