The Four Minute Mile

The extras are not worthy of discussion, which is a shame, considering the subject matter. Surely, there must be tin trunks of archive material locked away in a BBC basement, or Oxford college. Anyway, no one found them and we learn nothing more. Perhaps, they reckoned, the film was enough.

It looks good, considering its age, and the sound has survived the rigours of time with perfect clarity.
