Universal has put together a decent package for the DVD release of Role Models. Accompanying the solid 5.1 audio option and the above average picture quality is a bevy of bonus material, which includes a fun and informative audio commentary with director and co-writer, David Wain. While always enthusiastic and entertaining, the track could have really done with some actor input rather than have Wain go it alone.

The short 'On Set' featurette contains your run-of-the-mill on-set banter as well as plenty of nipple flicking, penis talk and swearing (the director loves the word 'fuck', according to his cast), while the 'Game On' featurette delves into the strange and scary world of fantasy role playing.

The in-character featurettes are basically mock interviews with three of the film's supporting characters, the funniest of which is a short promotional film for the Ned Flanders-esque, Martin Gary.

The disc also contains a whopping 19 deleted scenes/alternate takes (some funny, some not so much), plus a few minutes worth of amusing bloopers.
