The extras feature a reasonably comprehensive ‘making of’ (30 mins, and no plot spoilers!) in which the cast all make some perceptive comments and the "everyone was wonderful" gush is kept to a minimum. There are also extracts from a South Bank special on Argentinian cinema, which puts Burman’s career in context and looks at his guerrilla-ish handheld approach to filmmaking and relationship with Daniel Hendler.

It also features some interesting information on Argentina’s film industry as a whole (the freewheeling approach to financing and the almost total lack of lack anything resembling a ‘studio system’ are refreshing). But there’s disappointingly little on Burman’s contemporaries.

Still, overall a nice package which, together with the film, would make for an ideal night in with a partner and a bottle of Argentinian red.
