It is hard to discuss the visual and sound quality of a film designed specifically to look like a no budget Seventies feature. The DVD comes packed with a fair bunch of extras, which added up probably will take up more of your time that the brief main feature itself. Overall there isn't really any in-depth detail about the production of the film in the extra videos, which is odd given how much this film trades on its low budget production values. The gag reel is good for a few chuckles, though such a feature seems a little superfluous given that the entire film feels like a gag reel.

There are some brief short promo videos made to support the film's screenings when on tour, one featuring a zombie horde surrounding one of the films assault- rifle toting cast members, the other featuring director Bickert in a torture chamber, naturally.

The Poster and Reel slideshow is perhaps the most entertaining of the extras, taking you through some of the peripheral 'in world' retro 1970s material created for and around the film (there are even Japanese film poster mock ups).

Vlog The Magnificent is a lewd and crude episode from the couchcutter.com cult film site's review show, which sees the reviewers head down to the Plaza Theatre World premiere of Dear God No! Chats with fans and cast to attempt to find the 'penis count' in the film, amongst other things, ensue.

The Blaarg animated short created by David Antony features some of the cast and crew from Dear God No! including star Jett Bryant and James Bickert, but otherwise feels tangential and isn't as funny as the main feature. Does grindhouse really work as animation anyway?
