If only a few of this documentary's extras were included in the film itself, it would be much more informative. As it stands, the Da Vinci Code Decoded is somewhat incomplete without them, so watching everything on the DVD to get a fuller picture is a must.

Unfortunately, these are outtakes from the actual film - nothing else. There are no sound options, no Making Of, no behind the scenes bits and, as a result, what you have tends to get a bit tedious, if you try to watch the whole thing in one go, as most of the scenes are further interviews with academics.

As far as a starting point for further research goes, the whole package will definitely intrigue, but the production is basic, as it is meant to inform, not impress.
