Read John Gallagher's film review of Coast Guard

In the director's introduction Kim Ki-duk tells us the divide still remains between the North and South today and this was the inspiration for the movie. A documentary-style making Breaking Down Borders shows the director at work, giving a feel for the attention to detail he put into the making of this movie, from the unusual exercise regime the soldiers undertake to the insane ending.

A music video is also available but unless you speak Korean then I would advise you give this a miss. And finally the always handy trailer reel highlighting other releases in the Asia Extreme series.

All in all, a worthy collection of extras for a single-disc movie.
