Rather like the film itself - the extras on the DVD may be limited by budget, but they still exceed expectations.

The Making Of is pretty standard fare, featuring all the players and crew offering their thoughts on the film, intercut with behind-the-scenes footage and clips from the film itself. Although limited, it's interesting to hear the cast talk about working with two directors - apparently easy stuff, presumably because Luis Piedrahita and Rodrigo SopeƱa have had such a long working relationship. There is also a discussion of how physically dangerous shooting in a shrinking room is - with the evidence to prove it.

The deleted scenes are much better than the average sort we are usually shown, because the directors introduce each segment explaining why it was cut and the thoughts behind shooting it. Among the 18 minutes of material is an homage to Hitchcock and two different versions of the initial number puzzle, shot so that the digits are shown in the right sequence for English and Catalan speakers.

Also fascinating, is the eight minutes or so of rehearsal footage from the first week of the film's shooting. It's great to see the actors having to cope with background noise from set constructors and working without props. The sort of extra more companies should consider including on DVDs.

Two 3D scenes - though brief - show how computer graphics were used to stage "an accident" (to say more would be to spoil the film for those who have yet to see it) and also illustrate how green screen was used for aerial views of Fermat's Room itself.

The modest, yet interesting package is rounded out by outtakes and a trailer reel for upcoming Revolver releases.
