From the choreographer of Monsoon Wedding comes a more traditional Bollywood offering, albeit one of unusual slickness.

Main Hoon Na, which translates as "I am there for you", stars India's leading man Shah Rukh Khan in an astonishingly demanding role which calls for singing, dancing, comedy, romance, slapstick, pathos, martial arts and even Matrix-style bullet-dodging.

Overall, it's a lot of fun, although some of the spectacular action sequences are a little too derivative - surely there's more to aping John Woo than to keep throwing doves into every fight scene?
