Missing

Missing

Written and directed by Graham Eatough, with a strong central performance from Barbara Rafferty, Missing is both compelling and touching.

Rafferty is Rachel, a suburban housewife whose husband has disappeared. She attends a support group and talks about how she has coped since he went missing. Brief scenes with the missing Paul are subtly and credibly integrated.

This is excellent work, beautifully shot in a variety of locations, with a real depth. Based on The Missing by Andrew O'Hagan, this is a haunting piece.
